About Dr. K

IMG_0200.JPG

After more than 20 years teaching English, creative and expository writing, journalism and French in the District of Columbia public high schools, I established my tutoring business. I now serve a broad range of students on an individual basis.

Having earned a Ph.D. in Human Sciences from the George Washington University, I am familiar with all aspects of dissertation and thesis writing. I enjoy coaching Ph.D. students through all aspects of the process, from the initial proposal to the final edit of the finished project. I also enjoy helping students with personal statements for college, graduate school and law school admissions. Because I am also a French and English as a Foreign language teacher, I specialize in helping students whose first language is not English.
